In History 1700 I learned that America is not what it said to be. Everything I grew up knowing about America is basically an exaggeration or a lie. Fun fact, did you know Abraham Lincoln actually wasn't poor and didn't live in a cabin in the woods. In fact, Lincoln was a very well off lawyer, he was just made out to be that way to gain favor in the election. In my E-portfolio signature assignment I chose to write about the Golden Age of America. I found during the time America was prosperous, there was a lot of growth going on. During the golden age there were many little golden ages going on like the golden age of Hollywood, Golden age of consumerism, and the golden age of health care. I concluded the golden age created overall advancement.
